A SCOTS musician’s organs will be donated to help others after he tragically died abroad.

Cheyne Halliday, 23, was put in a medically-induced coma after a horror fall on April 30 with his life support switched off yesterday.

The family of the Metro Mafia singer have now confirmed that his organs have been donated in what they describe as “the ultimate gift from a man who did nothing but give”.

Cheyne, who was born in Ireland but lived in Edinburgh, suffered a fatal brain injury after plunging more than four storeys from a 500-year-old bridge in Birgu.

He was rushed to the nearby Mater Dei hospital but was put into a medically-induced coma due to his severe neurological injuries.Continue reading
