A group of youngsters have created a video to encourage more people to support organ donation.

The film shows them working out and exercising in a gym dressed as giant organs including a heart, lung, liver, kidney and an eye.

The clip, which features music and a song titled Pieces of Mine, also displays messages urging people to look after themselves, eat healthily, cut down on smoking and drinking alcohol, and consider donating their organs via the online NHS Organ Donor Register.

It says: “If you want to be an organ donor, it’s important that you look after your own health to make sure your organs are as fit and healthy as possible.

“There are over 7,000 people waiting for an organ transplant. Many will die before a donor is found.” Continue reading
