A dad who desperately needs a double lung transplant to stay alive has made a poignant video for his twin three-year-olds, to watch if he is no longer around.

James Beeching struggles to catch his breath and coughs his way through the video for little Isobel and Logan, as his condition deteriorates.

The 35-year-old has cystic fibrosis - an incurable genetic condition that sees the lungs clog with sticky mucus - and he is on the transplant list.

His condition is deteriorating and he wants his children to be able to see and hear him in the future.

James, of Hastings, East Sussex said: "I’ve got a hard drive with all the pictures and videos ever taken of the kids on, for them to access when I’m not here anymore.

"I decided to make the video, too, because I wanted them to see and hear me, and if I go in the next couple of years they may not be able to do that from memory.

"Now, they’ve got something to watch when they’re at an age where they can understand death." Continue reading
