Questions and General Comments on the UNOS Proposal to Allow Deceased Kidney Donations to Initiate Kidney Paired Donations. (KPD)

Kudos to the Kidney Transplantation Committee to look for unique ways to increase the number of kidney transplants.

I have many questions about the concept as described and the process that would be followed in each of the three models that were presented.
  • Who will initiate the program? As described in the proposal it would be UNOS or an individual KPD program at a transplant center. Continue reading
