Organ Donation Advocates Take to the Capitol

JACKSON, Miss (WJTV) - The scene at the state capitol gave the term 'stormtrooper' a whole new meaning! The Mississippi Highway Patrol joined forces with organ donation to help save lives in the future.

Donate Life Mississippi shared personal stories from those whose lives have been saved or dramatically changed by the gift of an organ, tissue or eyes donated by someone else. April is Organ Donation Month. Advocates want to get the word out well in advance for folks to help by indicating on their drivers license or in their health directives they would like to be a donor.
